Anna ie. A Sensible Mommy, has kindly asked me to share a guest post while she's away from her blogging desk, and in the throws of moving; ick!
Moving can be an excellent adventure filled with making of new friends, memories, and the hope of a happy future. It's the "process" of moving that I despise! I can relate to Anna's emanate ordeal, having moved six times in the past 8 years...packing all your worldly possessions, coordinating utility shut off/turn on, drivers licenses renewals, finding new schools, more packing, cleaning the old house, cleaning the new house, the final push to get on the road, then unpacking, and a slew of other nerve racking stuff! Not to mention, leaving places, persons and things, and having to say goodbye. Just thinking about moving makes me weak at the knees, I can honestly say that I hate moving, but once I've gotten myself all unpacked and make my first meal in my new kitchen, everything seems to fall right into place.
Anna, I'm sending along some prayers for you and family; safe travel, an abundance of patience and most importantly, a good sense of humor! Moving...ick!
