    Two Irresistible Breakfast Sandwiches to Start Your Day

    Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and what better way to kickstart your morning than with a delicious, hearty sandwich? In this blog post, I will share two mouthwatering breakfast sandwich recipes that will satisfy your cravings.

    Sandwich #1 - Sausage Egg Cheese on Brioche

    A Delightful Combination

    A golden brown sandwich with melted cheese and a perfectly fried egg combine buttery brioche, savory sausage, gooey cheese, and a runny yolk—pure breakfast bliss.

    This scrumptious sandwich has pork breakfast sausage, large eggs, yellow cheddar, American, and Havarti cheeses; a mouthful of delicious.

    Ingredients
      

    • 4 slices, Brioche bread
    • 4 pork sausage patties substitute turkey sausage
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 slices cheddar cheese
    • 2 slices American cheese
    • 2 slices harvarti cheese
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • butter for toasting

    Instructions
     

    • Cook the sausage patties in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook until browned and no pink remains. remove from skillet and drain on a paper towel
    • In the same skillet, fry the eggs in melted butter. Cook the eggs unit the whites are set but yolks are stilly runny (or to your desired doneness)
    • Butter four slices of brioche on one side. Add cooked sausage to two slices of bread and cheese to the other slices of bread. Toast the four slices butter-side down for 3-4 minutes. Add one egg to each of the sausages, then place the cheese side on top of the egg/sausage side. add more butter to the pan and grill the sandwich until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately

    Sandwich #2 - Breakfast On A Bagel

    Breakfast on a Bagel Sandwich is different from your ordinary breakfast sandwich. This bagel has it all: loaded with link sausages, sliced apples, and cheesy potatoes on a cheesy bagel with an over-easy egg in the bagel 'hole' and a smear of chive cream cheese. This baby has it all!

    Ingredients
      

    For the Potatoes

    • 1 russet potato
    • 1 sweet potato
    • ½ cup (1 ½ cups) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil

    For the Bagel

    • 2 cheesy bagels sliced
    • 2 large eggs
    • 4 tablespoons chive cream cheese
    • 4 link sausages
    • 1 granny smith apple thin sliced

    Instructions
     

    For the Potatoes

    • Wash and thinly slice the potatoes. I keep the skins on but you can peel them
    • Toss the potato slices in olive oil. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper. Lay the potatoes evenly on a baking tray. Bake 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Check for doneness and turn the potatoes over. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake for 8-12 minutes longer or until the potatoes are fork tender.
    • Cook the sausage links till golden brown. Drain on a paper towel, then cut lengthwise.
    • Toast the bagel. Spread cream cheese on both haves of the toasted bagel.

    Build the Sandwich

    • Layer cooked potatoes with cream cheese on the bottom half of the bagel, then add the sliced sausage and thinly sliced apples. Top with the other half of the bagel.
      Crack an egg into the bagel's hole and broil the sandwiches until the egg is cooked but still runny and soft.
